Wherever There Once Was Love A poem

Wherever There Once Was Love

There is a part of the heart that lives out of time
It loves wherever there once was love
It hurts wherever there once was hurt

It is shadows, it is silhouettes, it is
ruptures healed, reflections cherished
You are there when you will not hope
When you do not summon regrets

There is a part of the heart that is uncontained
It hurts wherever there once was love
When you dare to dare, when you forget
to forget
